Job Description:

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a respected global nonprofit organization committed to relief, development, and peace efforts, is seeking a General Manager to lead operations in our Printing Media department. This position is critical in overseeing our printing services, which play a pivotal role in our communication and educational programs. The ideal candidate will manage our printing operations, ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and alignment with MCC’s mission of community partnership and sustainable development. Oversee daily operations of the printing production floor, ensuring timely delivery of printing projects. Manage and optimize workflow and production processes to increase efficiency and quality. Collaborate with other MCC departments to align printing projects with organizational needs and goals. Develop and control the department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper resource allocation. Lead, recruit, and develop the printing media team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations related to printing production. Maintain equipment and negotiate with suppliers to ensure operational excellence and sustainability. Strong leadership and people management skills Expertise in print production and graphic design Proficiency with digital printing technology and software Excellent project management and organizational skills Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and negotiation abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Qualification in Lean Manufacturing or similar efficiency methodologies is advantageous
