Description:1-3 year contract with a strong chance of being offered a full time job if things go well.Selected candidate will be working with the Data Network team to provide IT Technical and Compliance support for an enterprise network environment. Candidate will assist with network installations of Cisco equipment, updating network documentation and drawings, and provide support for incident tickets. Candidate will assist with reviewing and updating procedural documentation as needed.This position is for staff augmentation for the Data Networking team to help the team with increased workload partially driven by new projects. The work would be a mix of day to day and some new project support.---Security certification and Cisco Security experience a plus. ---Experience using network management/monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Firemon helpful. ---Palo Alto Firewalls experience desired.Skills:Cisco, Network, Routers, Switches, Nexus, Asa Firewall, Security, RSA, Palo Alto, Qradar, Itil Service Management, Change Control ManagementTop Skills Details:1. Experience building and supporting DNS firewalls - need ASA , Palo Alto is a nice-to-have (they have both). 50-60%2.Blended build and support experience with Cisco Routers/switches - ideally Nexus. If they have Nexus ACI we can bill over the rate. 40-50%3. Change control knowledge or ITIL experience - at a minimum would like them to come from a regulated environment.*CCNA is a nice-to-have.IAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Detailed oriented- this is very important due to the compliance procedures the must be followed Team oriented- this team works very closely together. They manage overtime schedules work very closely to meet deadlines.Efficient communication skills- This team works with both onsite team members and with other team members at other locations.
