We ask 'Why' so we can deliver the 'How'.The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Premier Packaging learning management system (LMS) administration, and the design, development, and implementation of engaging and impactful learning content for the professional development of our employees. This position will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) providing content development guidance through training needs analysis, storyboarding, and evaluation. This position will report to the Corporate Learning & Development Manager.Essential FunctionsManage all aspects of the administration of the Premier Packaging LMS, including customizing the user interface, maintaining user records, organizing and scheduling training, approving and uploading content, building and running reports, and troubleshooting user issues.Partner with the LMS vendor to ensure the system is functioning properly, the software is always up to date, and any new features are being reviewed and tested.Design and develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of content creation tools, including, but not limited to, eLearning, video and photo editing, and presentation creation tools.Utilize adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies to develop effective curriculums for both computer-based and instructor-led learning.Create and manage storyboard and script-writing process and procedure to aid in the development of consistent learning content and tools across the organization.Partner with department SME's in the content creation process to provide guidance and ensure the content being created aligns with overall content strategy.Conduct annual learning and development needs assessments to identify gaps, best practices, and opportunities.Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results, identifying any additional areas where training is anize and order supplies for employee development and training events.Manage the training calendar to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on upcoming classes and webinars.Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related discipline. Master's preferred.5+ years in LMS administration, instructional design, and/or adult education.Proficiency in learning management system (LMS) administration.Adept with using and developing within a variety of multimedia training platforms, including but not limited to Articulate 360, Lectora, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and Word.Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.Ability to design and implement effective adult learning content.Excellent project management skills.Exemplary written and oral communications skills using a variety of instructional techniques/formats.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a creative approach to training.Ability to work independently and use good judgment.Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.Salary:Premier offers a competitive wage, a completebenefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation and holidays, as well as a company-sponsored 401k retirement program.Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.Please view Equal Employment Opportunity Posters provided by OFCCPhere.Premier Packagingwill not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
