Under the general supervision of the Chief Strategy and
Marketing Officer, with a matrixed relationship to the Chief
Operating Officer, the Director of Community Health & Engagement
leads the system in developing and implementing community health
engagement strategies and partnerships to support Baptist Healths
vision, mission and values. This role provides executive oversight
in a collaborative relationship with market leadership of community
health, community partners and volunteers to develop an
organizational structure and culture that engages our communities,
citizens and health system in working together to create both
short- and long-term effects on complex issues that impact health.
A component of the role will be in overseeing reporting of our
community benefit, and assisting the planning team in developing
required Community Health Needs Assessments, in addition to working
with market leaders to ensure consistent implementation and
tracking of the CHNA plans and outcomes. Must be able to function
effectively in a highly matrixed environment, and have the ability
to work collaboratively across multiple markets and with executive
stakeholders to achieve system-wide goals.
Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree preferred Minimum 5 years of
experience in health administration, public health, and/or
community relations Experience in healthcare leadership
