This role is designed for a true digital marketing engagement champion " and champion-builder " who thrives in designing and delivering outstanding member engagement strategies focused on effective onboarding millions of members, driving product engagement, and maximizing operational communications. The successful candidate is an effective team leader, change agent, and team player who brings strength in marketing engagement strategy, planning, prioritizing, and orchestrating the development of customer engagement experiences, while also demonstrating proven ability to: Design and implement omnichannel marketing strategies and plans across all digital channels responsible for driving engagement, satisfaction, growth, and retention. Lead an organization in the identification and deployment of innovative, forward-thinking marketing experiences that drive measurable value. Work with business partners to lead digital marketing concepts, define opportunities, and assess vendors' marketing value and how they best fit into the existing marketing ecosystem of solutions. Develop strategic roadmaps, competitive benchmark assessments, and business cases, and identify or evaluate potential solutions that could drive engagement. Foster multidisciplinary and multichannel collaboration and ensure the deployment of marketing solutions that engage target populations and address market needs. Oversee member communication governance model and establish quality controls for content within operational communications Proven leadership, passion for customer experience, an influential personality, ability to embrace and lead change, and deep commitment to collaboration and inclusion drive success in this unique opportunity. The candidate must have a working knowledge of marketing technology, performance marketing, SEO, and content management. Demonstrable experience is required in omnichannel marketing planning and design by cost and value, activating insights and data, directing with an analytical and data-driven mindset, thought leadership, and people leadership. This role's primary duties include, but are not limited to: Acts as a partner in the business planning process at the business-unit and enterprise level. Prioritizes efforts with the business and team. Uses customer data and market information to proactively identify and assess new business opportunities to create customer value and profitably grow the business. Manages complex, high-priority business marketing questions/issues, and identifies/create solutions for customer marketing engagement. Delivers strategies and recommends plans that connect overall membership growth and business objectives to marketing/product/distribution omnichannel strategies and programs. Develops and executes the annual plan and editorial calendar for designated business partners. Leads large, cross-functional efforts in developing marketing strategies and plans for high-profile initiatives. Performs industry and competitive analysis, market sizing and segmentation analysis, customer value proposition analysis, and customer experience analysis. Identifies strategic priorities, collaborates with business partners to prioritize and execute the strategic plan and evaluates performance to measure results. Develops and implements metrics to report and monitor progress against goals. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports. Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to local and enterprise initiatives. Leads member marketing and prioritization for specified member journeys. Qualifications Requires a BA/BS degree; 7-10 years experience in business development, marketing, marketing research, and strategy; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Master's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred. Cross-industry experience in both consumer-focused industries such as pharmaceuticals or packaged goods, and health insurance or health-related industries preferred. Excellent omnichannel, analytical, negotiation, and presentation abilities are required. Excellent managerial and change-management leadership skills are required.
