Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree and two or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade ND Wage Minimum $14.72/hr

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy
  • Clinical skills including nasal swabbing, ultrasound, blood pressure, etc.
  • Strong background in clinical and scientific terminology
  • Experience in data handling and storage
  • Word processing
  • Familiarity with consenting
  • Familiarity with RedCAP or other data collection systems
  • Understanding and familiarity with regulations governing human studies research

Position Description

The Environmental Health Institute in the Envirome Institute of the University of Louisville has two available positions for a Clinical Trials Coordinator

The primary function is to assist and facilitate research activities in the Envirome Institute Human Subject Service Center. This includes participating in clinical study visits; assist participants to schedule and conduct study visits following all regulatory requirements; collect data and cross-check databases; and ensure Human Subject Service protocols are conducted properly in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct clinical study visits, ensuring timely and effective completion of all planned activities and projects related to the Human Subject Service center
  • Prepare reports of study activities to share with supervisor
  • Data collection and quality assurance for research studies as directed by supervisor
  • Organize and conduct community outreach, recruitment, training programs, and workshops to provide coordination with the Human Subject Service at supervisor's direction
