Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and four years of
related Business experience. Additional experience may be used on a
one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The

Master's degree in Business with four or more years of related
business experience. Experience working in similar
financial/business operations for another office or department in a
professional school within a University system.
Manage the financial and business operations of the
Undergraduate Medical Education Office, which includes the
following divisions: Curriculum & Evaluation Office, Standardized
Patient Program, Paris Simulation Center, Office of Academic
Technology, Medical Education Research Unit and Global Education
Office. The Undergraduate Medical Education Office has a complex
financial structure that requires excellent managerial, financial
and business skills. This person must be familiar with University
policies and procedures, be able to work independently, and be a
highly professional employee with excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of budget (all funding and revenue) for Office of
Undergraduate Medical Education. Responsible for annual budget
- Reconcile monthly detailed summary reports, procards, maintain
expenditures and financial records. This also includes journal
vouchers and PARs.
- Process payments to vendors, employees and lecturers.
- Manage payroll - this includes all employee biweekly and
monthly time sheets, x-pays, vacation and sick leave.
- Keep employees up to date on all University changes and updates
as they are implemented.
- Responsible for hiring and promotion processes.
- Attend meetings and seminars on financial and administrative
- Provide knowledge, leadership and guidance in grant management
