ABOUT THE SUPPLY CHAIN ROTATION PROGRAM: Graduates will be placed in a rotational development program in Engineering or Supply Chain roles within Brown-Forman Global Production with the intent to: ? Build knowledge and experience in the various operations. ? Learn our business by rotating through several areas of operation providing the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the diversified businesses within Global Production. ? Opportunities to build a valuable network of peers, managers and leaders across the company. ? A customized development plan that provides a variety of rich developmental and challenging experiences, including mentoring, networking, training, leadership workshops and assessments, and community involvement in Corporate sponsored events.The successful candidates will begin in the rotation program and after approximately 36 months receive their "graduation assignment/role" in operations, engineering or supply chain departments.We are looking for capable, self-confident individuals interested in a new challenge; repeatedly demonstrates strong leadership skills; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments, inspire others to embrace change; possesses strong interpersonal and networking skills; and has the desire to be an agent of change.ROTATION COMPONENTS: (full details below) 1. Project Management Office: Work will consist of supporting and leading projects and providing exposure to supply and demand planning as well as logistics functions. 2. Supply Chain Planning: Work will consist of managing inventory levels and replenishments. 3. Supply Chain Business Process: Work will consist of learning and performing business activities, regulations and set up programs specific to the Brown-Forman Supply Chain and a beverage/alcohol regulated industry.The scope of this position encompasses executing innovation and other Supply Chain related projects to ensure on time completion. Responsible for the timely and accurate Supply Chain activities associated with various Supply Chain duties. Responsible for coordinating timeline activities with project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed and assisting with schedules to ensure on time completion of project. Follows assigned projects from the original concept through to completion. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Strive to maximize efficient common processes across B-F entities.What You Can ExpectRotation 1: Project Management OfficeRESPONSIBILITIES: Appropriately applies B-F common methodologies and technological processes across projects / programs while acquiring a working knowledge of key production value stream work dependencies and business relationships. Lead projects in the Stage Gate development path which require the second-highest level of PM mastery and accountability strengths. Number and type of projects will be those with the second greatest level of complexity and risk / return to the Company, and range between 10 - 15 projects per year cultivated from the three smallest (of six) brand groups. Consult with project managers to identify and understand resource needs of projects. Monitor and make recommendations regarding constraints in a way to minimize the impact to the business. Create and maintain a repository of project management best practices and lessons learned. Liaison and support of own distribution collaboration projects Perform future special projects, research and analysis as required.Rotation 2: Supply PlanningRESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate demand plans vs. actual activity, plan inventory replenishments to network distribution centers and bailment warehouses that meet supply chain goals, and provide updated supply requirements to assigned production facilities and suppliers. Maintain the inventory planning model which includes SKU maintenance, parameter maintenance, and network maintenance. Measure and report inventory actual balances vs. targets. Report corrective action taken to alleviate out of tolerance conditions. Manage deployment of short supply materials. Reconcile reported field inventories to Brown-Forman perpetual inventories. Periodically audit field inventories to insure the accuracy of field reported inventories. Audit warehousing invoices, allocating cost to various brands. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process for the purpose of; reporting aged and un-sale-able inventory, obsolete and/or de-listed materials to reach consensus on disposition planning re-packs as required planning deployment of short supply materials re-defining inventory planning parameters resolving other inventory exceptions and supply constraints Conduct Operational Analyses as requested by the Lead Supply Planning Analyst.Rotation 3: Supply Chain Technical and Business ProcessesRESPONSIBILITIES: Business Processes Responsible for working with BFB Field Sales to evaluate and determine specific market needs to ensure the SKU Rationalization & approval process is followed. Manage final approval requirements of the SKU Rationalization process, including review of request for completeness and COG accuracy. Stay informed about any government mandatory packaging/labeling changes or requirements. Work with Field Sales, Marketing, and Legal to manage and resolve complex International compliance issues for all BFB Spirits & Wine products and related bottling materials in a timely and cost effective matter Under departmental guidelines, implements, proactively develops, recommends changes and coordinates new bottle design/size, labels, cartons, or other packaging supplies as needed in the marketplace adhering to local government mandatory regulations. Works with and directs production personnel in coordinating manual packing, sticker application etc. as needed. Follow through completion. Identify and confirm the Master Data specification requirements for material creation and set-up to meet all supply chain requirements including Bill of Material requirements ensuring data meets all Supply Chain requirements. Project Management for Internal Supply Chain package change activities including developing appropriate timelines, status follow ups, scheduling and leading team meetings as needed. Maintains Project status files for details on all related SKU projects and able to provide detail in a timely manner. Maintains and updates Key metrics as identified for job performance measurements. Support the annual (VAP) value added packaging program with International and Domestic marketsRESPONSIBILITIES: TPIM Responsible for working with the Project Management Office, Brand Team(s)/ Field Sales, Business Processes, Design, Packaging to manage the innovation process through artwork completion. Manage and approve artwork on labels, cartons, or other packaging supplies as needed in the marketplace adhering to local government mandatory regulations. Assist in SKU Rationalization and management process as required. Responsible for working with Production and Supply Chain to create SAP Material numbers and SKU Master Data required for order processing including; all SAP material master data associated with allocations and sales and distribution. Support any gift packing and rework processes required. Develop and analyzes various report such as open orders, shipment history, inventory, listing history, pricing, & manufacturing Bills of Materials to determine market portfolio requirements for package changes. Communicates and interfaces with Business Processes, Field Sales (both Domestic and International), Customer Service, Packaging, Purchasing, Production, and External Manufacturing Operations in determining & maintaining accurate and complete product specification data including Product Information Forms. Define, manage and implement new processes to achieve improvements for master data processes and new product roll out. Support Supply Chain, Production and Shipping teams on master data issues.RESPONSIBILITIES: Pricing Responsible for applying all approved pricing for domestic and international customers to the appropriate key combinations in SAP. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Special Purchase Allowances (SPA) and Distributor Allowances (DA) in the US open and control states Responsible for obtaining and completing registration documentation based on established Brown-Forman and international market regulatory obligations. Support the market partners, distributor partners, and other agencies with any inquire related to product registration within international markets. Support the market partners and distributor partners with any inquire related to pricing. Maintain daily log on the status and completion of registration request. Prepare open states' price filings as price changes are established and approved by Finance. Prepare all documents, forms, affidavits, etc. necessary to perform the pricing functions in respective regions. Utilizing the Quote Tracker program, responsible for initiating and filing Control States' price quotations for new items or price changes as requested by Field Sales and approved by Finance. Submit special order price quotations at the request of Field Sales or State Liquor Boards.We Are Looking For People Who Have a Bachelor's degree in a business or Supply Chain related field. Strong communicator able to organize and uses information effectively. Organizational and facilitation skills having the ability to interact credibly with upper level management.
