Anthem's Employer Solutions group is hiring aSenior Director of Product Development. This People Manager will be responsible for leading the Spending Account product portfolio for the enterprise, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) and COBRA. The top candidate will share our passion for continuous innovation and client service that is second to none. [This position can work remotely from any US Anthem location preferably in the Eastern or Central US/Time Zones] About the role- Managing the product roadmap Partnering with stakeholders,customersand partnersto identify pain points and opportunities, and establish solutions to address those opportunities Collaborating with cross-functional teamsand vendor partnersin order to define the best possible solutionfor optimal Customer Experiences Establishing and owning the team'scomprehensiveproduct roadmap based on customer insights, industry and regulatory changes,and business opportunities Defining and prioritizing the team's product backlog for product enhancements Delivering the right product to the right users Partnering with an agile development team to manageongoingbuild scope to achieve the desired results Slicing a product vision into small, actionable, and iterative phases to bring a product to market Working with go-to-market teams to create and execute user adoption plans Working with internal functional and vendor partner teams to create and enforce high-quality business readiness and product operations plans Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Oversees strategy and implementation of new spending accountsolutionsor product changes/enhancements. Reviews, analyzes and makes recommendations on rate actions for existing products. Monitors product performance and the competitive environment.Manages multiple vendor partners' performance, relationship, contractual compliance and strategic positioning.Ensures products meet competitive and legislative needs. Establishes product development policies to guidedisciplinedproduct development. Monitors product development for compliance. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. Qualifications Requires a BA/BS degree; 8 years of leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
