Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, license to
practice as an R.N. in Kentucky, and two years of related
experience. ACRP Certification in Clinical Research Coordination is
desirable. The university offers market competitive salary and
benefits. Grade EG Salary Minimum $48,421

The Envirome Institute, Human Subject Service Center is looking
for candidates for the Clinical Research Nurse position. The
successful candidate will assist in the design and implementation
of clinical research projects; organize and manage the clinical
research team and serve as a resource person for patients
participating in research; conduct clinical research visits,
including health-related measures and gather data from clinical
medical record systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, access and collect data from multiple electronic
management record systems.
- Monitor, conduct and assist in recruitment of participants in
- Lead study visits to collect patient data and biosamples.
- Organize and maintain participants records in a secure
- Assist in longitudinal retention of clinical participants.
- Ensure that subjects and staff adhere to each study's
- Ensure and track appropriate human subject research protocols
are followed and be familiar with human subject research oversight
and regulatory requirements.
