Job DetailsDescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scheduling interviews and phone screens working directly with
candidates and hiring managers
- Administer the new hire onboarding and offboarding processes
and associated paperwork
- Prepare and edit HR documents including the employee handbook
and policies
- Work with payroll to process multi-state, bi-weekly payroll
(accurately update system, communicate one-off situations, and
review all bonus information for accuracy)
- Create and maintain electronic employee files
- Update and maintain HRIS platforms (UKG)
- Compile and prepare routine, compliance, and ad hoc reports
using Excel and other applications
- Support compliance audits
- Ensure the labor law notifications are up to date and posted in
accordance with applicable employment laws. ADDITIONAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review
forms.
- Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or
special projects.
- Processes departmental mail and external requests.
- Makes photocopies, faxes document, and performs other clerical
functions.

essential functions.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Two or more years of experience in human resources including
but not limited to payroll processing, benefits, employee
relations.
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification
- Multi-state and international HR experience is a plus
- Experience with UKG is ideal SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in communicating
with employees via email, office instant messaging platforms,
virtual meetings, and/or face to face conversations
- Ability to work with confidential information and deal with it
appropriately
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws, and
navigating compliance audits
- Experience with updating and maintaining payroll
information
- Knowledge of HRIS platforms is required
- This requires a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to converse and respond to common inquiries from
consumers and members of the general public
- Ability to write business-related documents such as letters,
emails, and other business correspondence as needed REASONING
