Job Category: Collections & OperationsRequisition Number: 1STPA001681 Full-Time Campbellsville, KY 42718, USAJob DetailsDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYSupervises and leads assigned Special Projects Representatives to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Ensures established corporate, client and divisional goals are met or exceeded. Assists the Special Projects Manager to propose strategies, policies, and procedures that ensure the effective and efficient operation of the activities within the department at competitive levels. Leads the supervision, development, evaluation, and motivation of unit employees and the work environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists the Special Project Manager in leading & managing activities of assigned units to ensure coordination of efforts and compliance with company related policies, procedures, and strategies
Analyzes and evaluates policies and procedures followed by the department and propose new policies/procedures and/or revisions to existing policies/procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency
Ensures compliance with Federal regulations, state statutes, HIPAA laws, 1st party client regulations and all other applicable laws and regulations governing activities
May act as a liaison between Special Projects client and Frost Arnett Company
Mentors and coaches Special Project Representatives to reach performance and development goals and maintain a positive, productive work environment
Maintains systematic methods as approved by the company to ensure that collection techniques, methods, and documentation of activities performed by each Special Project Representative are reviewed, monitored, evaluated and critiqued on a regular and consistent basis
Assists the Special Project Manager with new employee selection and initial training of new employees
Identifies ongoing training and development needs; ensures implementation of programs/activities to satisfy requirements
Assists the Special Project Manager in determining staffing needs and scheduling to adequately cover telephone & work assignment activity
Conducts all supervisor duties in accordance with company policy and procedure
In conjunction with the Special Project Manager, develops, recommends, and implements plans to increase recoveries and reduce expenses including specific campaigns, schedules, personnel, strategies and collection techniques
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of 1st Party insurance follow-up/billing experience.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Excellent knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and rules concerning collections of Special Projects accounts.
Proven ability to organize, motivate and supervise the work of others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Skill in communicating in a professional and pleasant manner.
Well organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to manage time and effectively multi-task.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to converse and respond to common inquiries from consumers and members of the general public.
Ability to write business-related documents such as letters, emails and other business correspondence as needed.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
