Job Description:

Zeochem is seeking multiple Chemical Operators for both day and night shifts supporting 24/7 production. The ideal candidate should have:
Manufacturing experience
Availability to work 12 hour shifts; night shift pays shift differential
Team oriented approach to support operations group
OVERVIEW:
The Production Operator runs various chemical production equipment and may receive bulk raw materials used in the process for manufacturing of molecular sieve products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loads raw materials into equipment hopper from conveyor, scales, and intermediate container or hand trucks
Monitors assigned processes to ensure quality output of product
Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications
Packages product into containers
Identifies worn equipment and accessories
Cleans equipment and work area
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
HS diploma or GED
At least 2 years' experience working with production equipment
Should be mechanically inclined and able to read detailed schematics and instructions
Fork Lift Experience
Must be computer literate
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to work 12 hour shift

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud depending on work location. Ambient temperatures for external temperatures.
