GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN THE RIVERPORT AREAHiring location at Champion Staffing and Recruiting1450 Gardiner Ln. Louisville, KY 40213(Arrive Between 10am and 3:30pm)Champion is seeking experienced reach truck or double pallet jack operators for a temperature controlled warehouse providing storage and distribution services for the food industry.We are specifically seeking...Position(s): Reach truck and ride-on electric double pallet jack operator. Working in cold storage warehouse, in temps between -5 degrees to 36 degrees.Experience Required: 2 years reach truck or ride-on electric pallet jack experience.Education Requirements: None if self motivated, self driven and can complete work obligations in a timely manner.Must be able to speak and understand English.Hours + Pay:2nd Shift: 330 pm - 12 am, M-F, with OT worked after shift if applicable, plus occasional Sat especially during the holiday season. $20.50/hr. No shift differential until FT then $1.00. (Lots of hours, big checks)Once hired on Full-time: will receive predetermined wage increases every 6-months for 24 months then annual increases. Full benefits package after 90 days.Background: No felonies within 7 yearsDrug Screen: Yes.PPE: Freezer coats, pants, masks and gloves. Will need own steel-toe or composite-toe boots that cover the ankle. Once FT will provide voucher for freezer boots.Dress Code: Wear warm clothes and bring extra clothing to stay warm.Training: on the job training/side-by-side with a FT employee until management is confident you're able to work alone. Also orientation will be provided.Rules + Other: Smoking outside only. No cell phone on floor. Break rooms have multiple refrigerators and microwaves. They have lockers and will provide locks.Parking + Building Entry: Reliable transportation is required. Location is not on a bus line and hours do not coincide with routes.Compensation: 20.50
