Description:Work with Project Managers and Engineers to design processing plants that are safe, reliable, and meet or exceed the customers demands. The goal of this person is to be the main inventor designer for the team within the next year. Essential Functions:---Work along side P.E.s and project managers to ensure fabrication capabilities of engineering designs---Minimal, but some customer communication ---Layout drawings of complete items with sufficient detail for assemblies to be pulled off and detailed---Piece detail drawings plates and structural steel---Create assembly drawings complete with bill of materials, titleblock, dimensions and weld symbols per designer/engineer---Check detail drawings for assemblies on own general arrangement, for others and self as required---Maintain computer files on hard drive and network drive---Plot drawings for check and release---Concrete foundation and anchor bolt layout and detail drawings---Detail drawing of machine parts---Communicate with other departments regarding timing and availability of items---Resolve problems and answer questions of other departments concerning drawings---Revise drawings to reflect structures "As Built"---Measure up existing equipment for hole locations and physical dimensionsSkills:AutoCAD, drafting, inventor, 3D, 2D, Mechanical, Design, Drafting, conveyor system, equipment design, detailing, redlining, advanced steelTop Skills Details:AutoCAD, drafting,inventorAdditional Skills & Qualifications:This person must hit the ground running in Inventor and AutoCAD2+ years of inventor or solidworks experienceequipment design experienceability to do assembly or detail drawings About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
