We are looking to hire an International Material Planner to add to
our Central Materials team. The position will require planning &
system competencies such as Oracle, Microsoft Suite (Excel) and
basic knowledge on BI tool. In addition, will monitor and track hot
shipments, and have high communication with suppliers and the
manufacturing material teams.

**How You'll Create Possibilities**
+ Manage material flow for a portfolio of suppliers to maintain
product availability and schedule achievement goals.
+ Communicate with Master Schedulers & material teams on impacts of
part availability.
+ Coordinate and expedite movement of material deliveries as needed
to SDCs.
+ Communicate with suppliers regarding shortages, overall part
availability and future state production needs.
+ Work with quality team to ensure proper inventory coverage when
parts are rejected from working inventory.
+ Ensure inventory quantities, receipts, and other part data in a
MRP system are accurate and maintained in a timely manner.
+ Work with warehouse 3PL and other stakeholders to reconcile
physical inventory vs. parts system.
+ Responsible for management of part parameters such as safety
stock, lead time, etc.
+ Resolve supplier issues and inventory surplus/deficits as
required at the SDCs.
+ Improve material availability to support production and customer
requirements through corrective actions for availability/span
issues, improved supplier response times, transportation planning
and inventory management.
+ Drive inventory reduction through improved material planning,
supplier cycle reductions, work in-process improvements, vendor
managed inventory, etc.
+ Manage respective transportation and logistics costs to reduce
inventory and drive productivity improvements.
+ Support product variable cost productivity initiatives.
+ Responsible for outcomes of planning metrics such aged PO, ages
ASN and other planning parameters.
+ Manage build-out process for supplier changes, including manual
part ordering.
+ Manage the depletion of safety stock, wind down orders and
collaborate final part counts with site material teams.
+ Lead and oversee bank build process.
+ During new product introduction (NPI) events, communicate with
supplier to set up lead times, delivery dates, safety stock for new
part
**What You'll Bring to Our Team**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related
fields.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in lean process
improvements, change management, hands on experience with
distribution, logistics or supply chain including experience in
Lean Supply Chain production method.
+ Experience building, empowering and leading Lean continuous
improvement projects and talented cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to travel up to 15%to support satellite plant activities
and business meetings/training, as needed.
+ Computer literate and skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
MicroStrategy/ Tableau, Oracle and Outlook.
+ Prior experience working in a high SKU and high velocity
manufacturing operations.
