Lifepoint Health is recruiting for an Area Vice President of
Process Transformation to join our team! -Position Summary:The AVP
of Process Transformation will lead enterprise-wide performance
improvement efforts and teams to improve the overall quality of
patient care, optimize critical processes, and implement strategic
initiatives. This position will lead the Lean Transformation Team
within the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO). - The AVP of
Process Transformation will work with HSC Leaders, vendor partners,
and all levels of leadership and frontline staff throughout
Lifepoint Health to design and achieve enterprise improvement
strategies, goals, and business objectives. -About Lifepoint

Lead the Lean Transformation Team
within the ETO including all Process Engineer resources and provide
expertise in determining highest value strategic initiatives across
the enterprise.Strategically oversee multiple multidisciplinary
process improvement efforts across Lifepoint Health to drive
quantifiable, sustainable improvement. - With assistance from the
VP of Enterprise Transformation, successfully balance a portfolio
of concurrent process improvement projects, through careful project
management, appropriate utilization of optimal tools for each
project, appropriate delegation to team members, and exceptional
time management.Work collaboratively with assigned teams across a
highly matrixed organization and variety of care settings by
serving as an innovative, strategic partner to improve healthcare
value, quality outcomes, and clinical processes. Decrease cost
through the reduction of needless variability and waste, involving
all key stakeholders. Cultivate a culture of continuous
improvement, learning, and highly reliable, measurable results
through the application of Lean methodology and tools most
appropriate to assigned projects.Guide assigned project teams
through planning and successful execution, ensuring that all
deliverables necessary for the success of the project are completed
on time. - Facilitate prioritization of improvement activities and
action items across all efforts.Develop and deploy Lean improvement
educational content and training to develop and enhance team
members' knowledge, skills, & abilities. Enable optimal engagement
and understanding of learners, independent of learning style and
carefully identify and validate learning objectives.Systemically
monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of improvement
techniques and adjust approach accordingly to achieve optimal
results.Review, prepare, analyze, and present information to
executive leaders across the enterprise.Collaborate and mentor
others within the department to enhance implementation skills,
change management tactics, and strategic approach to solving
problems.Collaborate with clinical informatics, data analytics,
program management, and other departments to identify internal team
process optimization opportunities that impact business
objectives.Develop and lead the delivery of a standardized
approach, provision of necessary education and/or training, and
accountability mechanisms with regional and hospital-based
improvement teams to ensure achievement of desired business
objectives.Create and execute communication strategy and materials
on business unit activities, progress, and outcome reporting to HSC
and Division leadership, and associated field facility leadership
teams.Develop and maintain a knowledge base library of Best
Practice Clinical Processes across the enterprise, and create an
implementation toolkit for high value processesBuild a mechanism to
track business value generated from ETO activities tied to
strategic programs and projects.Collaborate with business unit
leaders on strategic planning of hospital site visit selection
and/or expansion of efforts, and subsequent communication with all
key stakeholders, including HSC and Division leadership and
impacted facility leadership teams.Maintain regular and reliable
attendance.Additional Information:The position serves both internal

and vendors. Ability to develop and foster strong, ongoing working
relationships by leveraging individual subject matter expertise,

-Education: -Degree or equivalent healthcare experience.
-Experience: -Minimum 20 years of relevant healthcare experience,
with specific emphasis in: healthcare operations, continuous
improvement, customer service, systems analysis, working with
outside consultants, group leadership and facilitation,
interpersonal communication, team building. Strong understanding of
performance improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and
change management is required. Demonstrated leadership with proven
ability of bringing multiple complex projects to successful
completion is required. -Certifications: -Black Belt Certification
in Lean Six Sigma is required, Master Black Belt preferred.
