Job Description:
OverviewThis role will support onboarding new hires in
Technology; HR; Finance; and Sales. Manages the complete onboarding
process and ensures compliance. 50%+ of time in this position will
be spent actively onboarding. The remaining responsibilities will
have a focus on training, quality control, and problem solving for
the onboarding team, reporting key talent acquisition metrics, and
maintaining enterprise requirements. Partners with designated HR
Business Partners and Leadership to identify and deliver qualified
talent to fill critical roles and attract passive talent.
Experience recruiting both high volume and complex roles is
necessary as this position will support each based-on recruiting
volume. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily oversight of the Onboarding
Coordinators to include hiring, training, coaching and
mentoring.
- Manages candidates through the entire onboarding process from
the time the candidate accepts the offer to their first day of
work.
- Manually orders medical checks for candidates, including
vaccinations, and logs results into candidate management
system
- Reviews background, payroll, and medical documentation for
candidates.
- Engages with candidates to ensure a smooth and complete
onboarding process.
- Composing emails informing new hires and existing employees of
policy changes
- Processing onboarding paperwork
- Introducing new hires to their new team members
- Providing manuals, guidelines, passwords, etc. for the new
employees as needed
- Ensuring new employees have the necessary software and
hardware
- Serves as the customer interface for both customers and
candidates, as well as overseeing site services and candidate
services relations.
- Builds relationships across business units and establishes
partnerships with hiring managers to understand their business and
recruitment needs and fill their open positions in a timely
manner
- Creates and maintains strong relationships with both hiring
managers and candidates in conjunction with the recruiting
team.
- Supports enterprise hiring events and as assigned with the
potential to lead initiatives.
- Resolves complex issues and problems; collaborates with the
recruiting team on initiatives and/or hiring needs.
- Ensures delivery against key Talent Acquisition metrics and
enterprise requirements.
- Effectively utilizes and maintains all pertinent applicant
documentation and data in the applicant tracking system
- Performs quality control of onboarding staff
- Ensures adequate tracking of KPIs and regularly reports to
ManagementPerforms other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience AND a minimum
of 5 years of full cycle onboarding experience
- Experience supporting a high-volume complete onboarding process
and onboarding difficult and complex roles of all levels and
experience onboarding quality talent in short periods of time
- One plus years' experience managing small teams
preferredKnowledge of:
- Demonstrated ability in computer skills such as Microsoft
Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, or other job-related
software.
- Possesses strong knowledge of onboarding systems, hiring
practices, and legal and regulatory requirements. Skill in:
- Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative
approach for partnership with internal
- Savvy with Boolean out-of-the-box search methods.
- Solid time management skills, exceptional verbal, and written
communication ability as well as a high level of attention to
detail.
- Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over
the phone and ability to effectively use persuasive communication
skills. Abilities to:
- Demonstrated ability to partner with leadership, hiring
managers, and candidates.
- Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Physical
Demands and Work Environment: This is a full-time position. Work
hours will vary depending on client schedules, project deadlines, -
and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties
demand. The environment may be fast-paced and stressful. - While
performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend
approximately 75% of the time sitting and will walk or sit 25% of
the time; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or
controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally the
employee will stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific
vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
