Our Co-op Student Tellers serve as our front-line staff, working with our members to meet their financial needs. They greet our members as they enter the branch, process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and a variety of other tasks.
Candidates must be recommended by their high school co-op counselor or adviser.
The duties of a Co-op Student Teller include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining an acceptable balancing record with all negotiable items on a daily basis--including cash, checks, and other negotiable items
• Using the member's name at lease three times during every transaction--maintaining attentiveness and responsiveness to member traffic, while maintaining efficiency
• Meeting the monthly requirements on the number of transactions processed
• Meeting the monthly minimum requirement for credit union products and services cross-sold each month--possessing the necessary product knowledge to help match a product or service with the member's needs
• Displaying good decision-making skills with respect to policies and guidelines--presenting the credit union's perspective with regard to policies and procedures, in a positive and accurate manner
• Participating in all in-house training offered to staff, and showing enthusiasm towards learning
• Attending all required security training, and staying up-to-date on all branch security matters
