future as a Tank Room Production Operator II in Louisville, KYThe
Production Operator II is responsible for opening and closing
valves on the large tanks containing hot oil depending on the
order. They are responsible for keeping up with the maintenance of
the tanks and reporting when there is an issue, as well as cleaning
the tanks and floors in the tank room as necessary.Responsibilities
Safety & Environmental Performance:Identify high-risk
safety/productivity issues and help to remedy them.Support full
plant wide compliance with safety rules to further our goal of 0
accidents and encouragement of reporting and correcting near
misses.Encourage employees to look for ways to improve safety and
production processes.Prevention and timely reporting of any
environmental issues.Adhere to GMP's and other work procedures as
to assure product quality and consistency to our customers.Prevent
injuries by encouraging employees to work safelyMaintain
continuous, non-interrupted supply of oil for packaging
linesDocument, inventory, sample and monitor oil receivedMaintain
tank temperatures at optimal packaging conditionsMake tank changes
as needed to supply packing linesTransfer oil from storages as
directed by managementMonitor/maintain/transfer fat pit
contentsClear supply lines at E.O.R. or as required by Shift Leader
or operators.Maintain clean work area and keep free of foreign
materialComply with all plant and personal GMP'sPerform any and all
tasks assigned to you by any member of management given your Shift
Leader has approved the task.Routinely check all tanks and valves
to keep the correct product movingClean tanks and rooms as
neededUpdate packaging schedule with oils pumped to K1Cost
Controls:Reduce the amount of rework by participating in employee
involvement, process improvement and adherence to process
guidelinesEnsure work is completed to customers
specificationsContribute to the effort in controlling costs and
minimizing waste in your daily workAbout you High School Diploma or
GEDMechanical aptitudeAbility to do simple mathematical
