Job Description:
SUMMARY: The Rudd Equipment Company ("Rudd") is seeking a
Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with experience in data
analytics, trend analysis, data visualization, and building KPI
reporting dashboards. The ideal candidate has a passion for data,
loves diving into it and identifying key insights. This job will be
instrumental in transforming raw data into intelligent information
that drives business decisions. The role demands an analytical
mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work
across the company with the business for eliciting, understanding,
and documenting organizational needs to determine and recommend the
optimal reporting solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The BI Analyst serves as the go-to person for end-user support on
data analytics, business intelligence, and operational and
financial insights for reporting needs of the organization. ·
Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build and deploy dashboard
visualizations, reports and KPIs to help inform business users of
relevant trends and data in their respective departments. · Manage
data and maintain support on the corporate cloud business
intelligence and analytics platform to ensure accuracy and
effectiveness of reporting. · Oversee and maintain the deployment
of data from a variety of data sources and types to the data lake
for curated reporting content. · Perform data profiling to identify
anomalies and ensure data integrity. · Query and analyze the data
to identify any trends weekly/monthly reporting issues/requests
impacting the business strategies and determine appropriate
solutions. · Prepare reports, monitor analytics and metrics results
to support logical recommendations for action to improve or even
grow the company. · Design and maintain end-user training and
training materials on BI analytics and reporting. Provide training
to others as needed. · Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and
provide technical support as necessary. · Contribute to overall
team effort by accomplishing departmental goals and objectives. ·
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective
manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve
the overall objectives of this position. QUALIFICATIONS: · Software
management : Ability to work with applications that mine data using
complex tools and software. Soft skills include Business
Intelligence, Data Lake/Warehouse, Data Mining/Modeling, Data
Visualization, Dashboards and KPIs reporting. · Analytical
Problem-solving : Has the ability for analyzing data to identify
any trends and effectively communicate findings to others in the
organization. · Interpersonal communication : Personable character
and an ability to work independently as well as in a team
environment, willingness to support others who need assistance, and
correspond effectively, both orally and in writing, with coworkers,
company executives, end-users and clients who require IT help. ·
Project management : The ability to manage multiple tasks,
prioritize, and appropriately pace duties on hand without reaching
burnout. Ideal candidates are flexible, self-motivated and do not

support an organization EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor's degree
from an accredited college or university with major in Information
Systems, Computer Science, or business-related field · Has the
technological proficiency and up to 5 years' experience in business
analysis and working with enterprise business end-users in a
fast-paced, corporate office environment · Hands-on experience with
o ERP and BI reporting analytics applications, ideally Infor M3 and
Birst o SQL / Crystal Reports · Proficient in use of Microsoft
Office Excel for data analysis and management · Strong ability to
adapt to and learn new applications/tools quickly PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· While performing the duties of this position the employee will be
required to utilize the computer screen and keyboard, telephone and
will need to bend, lift, and carry 25-50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: ·
General office environment. · Works under general supervision. ·
