Compensation Survey Consultant

Mercer's Career Products team consists of Product Managers and Consultants who work on various large industry surveys., including Compensation Planning, Compensation Policies & Practices, and Incentive Plan Design.

* The Compensation Survey Consultant is responsible for specific Mercer compensation survey product lines throughout the product lifecycle, from planning to execution, in support of organizational strategy and revenue growth goals

* This position is responsible for all project deliverables, including product/project planning and coordination with other teams that support the product delivery

* You will work with client groups (ex., by industry) and collect and aggregate data, then present and discuss survey data analysis in order to tell a story based on the data, providing actionable market intelligence

We will count on you to:

* Participate in creating the short-, mid- and long-term strategy for assigned survey products in collaboration with consultants and other Mercer teams

* Partner to create product roadmaps that align with broader business and market strategies

* Support and actively participate with clients, in individual and group client meetings, and in conferences and events

* Contribute insights by researching and analyzing market conditions, and through assessment of key competitor offerings and consumer trends for assigned survey products

* Provide input to the product strategy team to ensure alignment with Mercer's overall market strategy

* Collaborate to ensure revenue growth and profitability goals of Mercer products are met, through effective design and administration

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to gain perspectives on how to enhance/improve current products to create greater operational efficiency

* Support, organize, and design agendas, and create and deliver presentations for individual and group client meetings, conferences, and events

What you need to have:

* Compensation experience required (either consulting or corporate experience with pay data)

* 5+ years of experience in a business-related type of role; e.g. product management, consulting, compensation (human resources), or related field

* Data analysis experience, with the ability to tell a story based on data

* Strong critical thinking/analytic skills and a foundation of business communications skills (verbal and written)

* Advanced Excel skills and experience with PowerPoint

* Team player in a collaborative environment

* Business and commercial acumen
