Out of School Learning (OSL) Site CoordinatorFamily & Children's Place of Louisville, KY is looking to hire a full-time OSLSite Coordinator at Engelhard Elementary School. The OSL Site Coordinator generally works Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM with occasional weekends. Our employees are as passionate about the work they do as we are, which is why we strive to foster a supportive work culture that gives them the space to build successful careers.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OSL SITE COORDINATORAs an OSL Site Coordinator in youth and family services, you play an essential role in contributing to the education of our clients. You provide services, including homework assistance as well as planning and leading group activities that are intended to improve academic performance and social development. As you get to know your students, you document both their academic and behavioral progress. You communicate any areas of concern to your site supervisor and ensure your students receive the help they need.In addition, you document and submit all pertinent paperwork before the required deadlines, including client program attendance, client advocacy, client surveys, and assessments as well as the employee Daily Service Activity (DSA) report and timesheet.   • Experience with providing direct services to youth
  • 2+ years of study at the college level related to social work, education, science, technology, engineering, or math (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check as well as a child abuse and neglect check upon hire
  • Ability to appropriately relate and respond to culturally and ethnically diverse populations
  • Willingness to take a drug test and TB screening upon hire
  • Knowledge about Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Current Covid-19 vaccination
  • Proficiency in middle school-level math, including algebra and geometry, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the 21st Century Community Learning Center's (CCLC) initiative and mission would be a plus but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills?
