Position Overview
The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for the technical
framework and applications that Galen employees and students will
use. The EA designs Galen's applications to ensure it aligns well
with the business' organizational structure and processes. Their
main duties include developing ways to integrate the business' IT
systems, creating and implementing enterprise architecture models
and suggesting improvements to current internal functions and IT
processes. The EA will work with vendors to ensure the applications
meet the standards and function within the guidelines of Galen's IT
policies and systems.
Position Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of an Enterprise Architect require
a solid set of skills to lead and monitor teamwork. These
interpersonal requirements are in addition to hands-on abilities
that require attention to detail and organization. They must
collaborate with stakeholders and managerial personnel to create an
IT infrastructure.
Essential Duties:
roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market / industry,
insights & data from consumers, and input from stakeholders across
the organization
Qualifications Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a
related
technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of
education,
professional training or work experience.
Certifications: Highly desirable, in any computer related area or
concentration
Special Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: Ability to carry personal work devices.
Degree of Supervision: Minimal.
