Job Description:

PCORP is looking for an Electronics Technician to join our growing organization. The technician would repair/overhaul, and replace components on electronic circuit boards as well as test, inspect and repair other mechanical components of robotic pen plotters.

Electronics Technician day-to-day:

Troubleshoot and repair production machines, including mechanical and electronic components.
Diagnose and replace malfunctioning circuit boards and soldered components as needed.
Analyze, interpret, and generate schematics and diagrams to identify and document root causes of issues.
Use electronic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering irons to diagnose and repair issues.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex problems and develop solutions.
Communicate with supervisors to report on progress and discuss solutions.
Work under pressure to complete repairs in a timely manner and minimize downtime for production machines.
Maintain records of repairs and update documentation as needed.
Keep test systems in good working order.
Maintain proper inventory levels of assigned products.
Perform final testing and quality assurance procedures before putting in inventory.


Electronics Technician requirements:

Technical degree or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or relevant coursework, training, apprenticeship or on-the job training in electronics repair and troubleshooting, digital electronics, microcontrollers, and other relevant topics
Two (2) years of experience
Perform repetitive tasks troubleshooting and testing printed circuit boards
Familiarity with electronic tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering irons
Experience working on assembly products and/or contract manufacturing is desirable
Ability to work independently
