Position Overview
We are looking for a Content Production Assistant to join TechnologyAdvice's growing Content team.
In the Content Production Assistant role, you will upload and publish content in WordPress for the TechRepublic property every day. The role involves choosing appropriate images, integrating SEO guidance and formatting copy in a way that is both accessible and aesthetically pleasing. The role does not involve writing or editing; instead, you will be the "last eyes" on copy before it goes live to the public.
The role demands a person with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.

What you'll do

• 
  
• Upload and publish a minimum of 12 assets to WordPress for TechRepublic and/or other TechnologyAdvice properties every day
  
• Follow SEO, accessibility, style and brand guidelines for every asset published
  
• Ensure all copy you publish is formatted correctly
  
• Select appropriate and engaging images for every piece of content you produce
  
• Communicate with colleagues about production assignments and deadlines
  
  Who you are
  
  • 
    
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in digital publishing
    
  • Comprehensive WordPress experience
    
  • Knowledgeable about SEO best practices for content production and publishing
    
  • Knowledgeable about accessibility best practices for web and mobile publishing
    
  • Self-starter: Somebody who has a positive attitude and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get work done
    
  • Excellent communication skills
    
  • Graphic design experience is a plus
    
  • Experience writing in HTML is a plus
    
  • CSS experience is a plus
    
  • B2B editorial experience is a plus
    Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
