Job Description:
SUMMARY: This is a full-time, in-person position located in
Louisville, KY. We are currently looking for a full-time Data
Analyst. The Data Analyst Works integrally within the IT team and
end users to provide extraction and analysis of data from various
administrative applications for the use in reporting dashboards and
other information distribution applications. Provides internal
support for creating, updating, and maintaining data for operations
applications as well as providing end user support for computer
programs and application software. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide
support and training to end-users on different business systems
used by the company.Help identify user requirements, find existing
solutions, or propose new solutions.Work with end-users to identify
reporting and process shortcomings.Develop reports and automation
solutions that streamline business processes.Build visualization
and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various departments.Plan,
design, coordinate, test, and modify dashboards and other methods
of information distribution.Query and analyze large pools of data
to bring insight to process stakeholders.Perform analysis and
investigation of identified anomalies in production application
data.Work with interfaces for data extracts and support for
production applications.Investigates and resolves complex technical
and business issues.Develop a thorough understanding of the
business processes.Develop skills though continuous training and
self-education.Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE: Associate degree in Computer Science or related
field.Three years related experience.An equivalent combination of
education and work experience may be considered.MS SQL skills
including the development of complex queries and stored procedures
required.Advanced Excel knowledge required.Experience with
reporting tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Power BI or
similar.Experience writing scripts to automate processes (VB
Script, Excel macros, PowerShell, etc.)Experience with SSIS, ETL,
and XML preferred.Experience in data visualization tools such as
Power BI a plus.Knowledge of Crystal Reports a plus.Understanding
of Accounting and ERP systems in general is preferred.Creative and
be able to "think outside the box" to find solutions.Able to
research by using available resources (Google, blogs,
etc.)Excellent customer service skills. Remain positive and calm
under pressure.Strong focus on quality demonstrated through testing
and attention to detail.Strong ability to adapt to and learn new
applications/tools quickly.Superior oral and written communication
skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this
position the employee will be required to utilize the computer
screen and keyboard, telephone and will need to bend, lift, and
carry 25-50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT:General office environment. Works
