This is fueled by our belief in treating our people, our supply partners, our customers and our environment with the trust and respect we each require, and our passion to give back to our community for our success.Read more about our philosophy at: International is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran.Position Objective: -Safely and effectively work with other team members to manufacture and assembly industrial filters. - Actively participate in preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and process control. -Key Responsibilities: -Safely work in a multi-cell environment eager to cross trainEfficiently set up, operate equipment, and utilize tools where requiredCollaborative communication and problem solvingImprove and maintain area cleanliness proceduresTrain and support others while promoting safety, quality, efficiency, and timelinessPerform all quality inspections and production monitoring within work cellPerform preventive maintenance on equipment, as well as repair of equipment when necessaryActively involved in continuous improvement initiativesOther duties as assigned -Technical Requirements: -Able to read/interpret engineering drawingsProblem solving skill setBasic mechanical and electrical understanding -Knowledge/Experience: -Experience in a fast-paced environmentPrevious manufacturing experience beneficialComfortable operating various equipment and working in multiple cellsComfortable utilizing tools to perform inspectionsFamiliar with workplace organization (Lean)Able to read, write and speak EnglishAble to work OT or/and weekends when necessary -Education Requirement: -High School Diploma or GED is preferred. -Special Skills: -Excellent work ethic and a positive professional attitudeAbility to work with others in a team-oriented environmentAdaptable to various work cells which may require different use of equipment, tools, expertise, problem solving, writing and computer skills -Work Environment: -Position requires working in a Safety-oriented, Quality-focused, fast-paced environmentMust be able to stand or work in one place for 8 to 10 hoursRoutinely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Continual bending, reaching, walking, and stretching while performing assigned tasksTemperature controlled in most -areas of the business - - - -We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
