TCI has an immediate need for a Senior Data Modeler/ Analyst in Louisville, KY. This is hybrid role with a lot of WFH flexibility.
The Senior Programmer Analyst evaluates requirements for a given project to come up with the technical vision needed to meet the project goals. This vision could include configuration of existing systems or the creation of new systems. The role requires both technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and manage these solutions through to their implementation. This role serves as a bridge between Solution Analysts who describe the requirements and developers and other IT staff who implement the solution.
KEY JOB DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
Design and document technical solutions that satisfy given business requirements. This will include technical flows, entity relationship diagrams, object models, service definitions, data models and pseudo code.Work with project managers to describe tasks and estimate work effort needed to implement a solution.Build out ERDs.Assist in identifying and documenting test plans, testing and triage of defects.Assist in resolving production-impacting issues as needed.Document deployment instructions and participate in related deployment, including post-deployment testing.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience designing and developing data-oriented technical solutions.Experience designing efficient data models for both batch and transactional solutions.Query data using SQL or other query languages.Experiencing creating/building ERDs to show data & process flows.Experience designing service-oriented solutions.Experience designing processes that run very efficiently on large, relational databases.Experience with a major development language such as Python, .Net, Java a plus.Ability to design and document APIs and Web Services.Ability to write clear and concise system documentation.Experience and knowledge of cloud computing.
PREFERRED (Nice to Have) QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in computer science, related certification, or equivalent experience.
