We are searching for a Production Scheduler to join our team located at our facility in Louisville, KY.Your Role: The Production Scheduler is responsible for running SAP reports, analyzing action messages and resolving issues as well as analyzing and reacting to daily reports and expediting, delaying, cancelling or adjusting purchase orders. In addition, this role will provide daily production schedules for the manufacturing processes in the facility that meet customer delivery requests. • Work with corporate on SLOB/aged inventory and aged inventory with plant.
• Prepare BOM and router for sourcing or master items as well as complete SAP maintenance.
• Perform necessary maintenance to the MRP system to deal with expedite/de-expedite messages.
• Be a resource to troubleshoot and fix problems related to Shop Order accuracy and production reporting issues.
• In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.Ultimately, you will ensure that we are creating our products effectively, efficiently, and on-time so that we can satisfy our customers' needs.     • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 2-4+ years of related professional and progressive experience in production planning in an operations facility environment.
    • Proficient in SAP.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
