tech-savvy professional with a knack for problem-solving? Our
dynamic sales organization is seeking an experienced Permanent Help
Desk Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for
providing technical assistance and support related to computer
systems, hardware, or software. You will have the opportunity to
work within a fast-paced environment, supporting a team of
dedicated professionals as they strive to reach their sales goals.
This position is integral to our day-to-day operations and our
overall success as a company.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Help
Desk Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to:1.
Providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users
with hardware, software, and application problems.2. Resolving
customer issues via the Help Desk - this could be in person, via
telephone, or electronically.3. Logging all Help Desk interactions
and administering help desk software.4. Following up with customers
to ensure that their technological systems are fully functional
after troubleshooting.5. Installing, modifying, and repairing
computer hardware and software.6. Providing support for a variety
of platforms including Windows 10, Slack, and GSuite
Applications.7. Running diagnostic programs to resolve problems and
responding to queries either in person or over the phone.8.
Training computer users and maintaining daily performance of
computer systems.9. Assisting with onboarding of new users,
ensuring they have appropriate hardware and software and can access
systems.10. Continuously improving and updating technical knowledge
and skills.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you
should possess the following:1. A minimum of 2 years of experience
in a similar role.2. Experience with tech support in a cloud based
enviornment, specifically with Azure 3. Proficient experience with
platforms such as ServiceNow, Help Desk, Help Desk II, help desk
support, Windows 10, Slack, Gsuite, and GSuite Applications.3.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.4.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.5.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an
ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical
staff6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.7. Experience with tech support for a cloud based
enviornment, specifically with Azure Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail.9. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is
preferred.10. Relevant certifications (like CompTIA A+) will be an
advantage.11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
within a team on one of the following shifts; Sunday - Thursday
