Process Safety Management Specialist to join our growing Operations
team! This position will report directly to the Plant Manager at
our Louisville, KY location.This role will provide Safety, Health
and/or Environmental expertise to line management. Services may
include: safety, contractor safety, occupational health, process
safety, fire protection, environmental, distribution, and
ergonomics.The responsibilities of the position include, but are
not limited to, the following:
- Partnering with site leadership and personnel to maintain high
standards of performance and awareness of environmental issues
through training programs.
- Prepare and participate in negotiation of permit applications
and renewals
- Lead and/or participate in investigation of environmental
incidents and implement system improvements to reduce potential for
future events
- Lead and participate in 1st party environmental audits, ISO
14001 EMS audits and site(s) 2nd party environmental audits
- Participate in audits or other interactions with federal and
state environmental agencies and respond to requests or
notifications from environmental agencies
- Manage compliance with regulatory and corporate Environmental
and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
- With guidance from the Site Environmental Leader, contribute to
timely and accurate reporting of regulatory data, including but not
limited to the following programs: TRI, Tier II, DMR, Water
Withdrawal, Annual Waste Report, Title V Annual Compliance
Certifications and semiannual reports, RMP, Annual Emissions
Inventory, and Corporate Responsibility Commitment goals. Prepare,
update, and maintain plans, permits, and procedures.
- Contribute to the Site PSM Program - work with Site
Environmental Leader to provide guidance to site PSM Committee
- Evaluate projects and upcoming changes for impacts to
Environmental or Process Safety Management Systems
- Manage compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety)
training requirements, including developing and delivering material
where appropriate
- Provide backup and support to other EHS functions, including:
Safety and Health, Security, Emergency Response, and Fire
Protection
- Support and advance Organizational Health to build trust and
deliver on business goals
- Participating on corporate EH&S networks, outreach efforts,
and continuing education to stay current and knowledgeable on
industry best practices, Corporate policy, and changes in
applicable regulation.The following is required for this role:
- BS in a technical discipline preferably in chemical or
environmental engineering, environmental science, or related
discipline.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in an environmental
capacity preferredThe following is preferred for this role:
- Experience in project leadership/ management and continuous
improvement (Six Sigma or Lean)
- Current professional certification - PE, CHMM, CSP, CPP,
etc.
- Experience working in a union environment
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing operation
- Experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance
program development - including PSM leadership and Emergency

that they do. Pay Range (in local currency):$81,715.00 -
$127,680.00Chemours Level:24Annual Bonus Target:6%The pay range and
incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary
location of this job only andnot a guarantee oftotal compensation.

are notlimitedto) responsibilities of the job,experience,
knowledge, skills,and abilities, as wellas internal equity,
andalignment with marketdata. The incentive pay is dependent on
business results and individual performance and subject to the
