Full Spectrum Lab Services from CBRE offers a professional suite of
services to a variety of clients in the life sciences industry,
including those in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, and
genomics, as well as contract research organizations (CROs) and
contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs).
Our comprehensive range of services includes laboratory consulting,
real estate services, instrumentation repair and maintenance, full
asset management, and more-covering the entire spectrum of life
sciences facilities. With expertise across various life sciences
categories, CBRE is a leader in managing highly-regulated spaces
within the industry.
The purpose of this position is to calibrate and adjust equipment
in accordance with the customer and requirements.
This role requires 25% to 40% of local/ regional travel.
Essential duties and responsibilities.
Must have NSF/ ANSI 49 Certification
Performs calibrations and adjustments for numerous calibration
devices; typically in the temperature, humidity, pressure, physical
dimensional, torque, force and electrical disciplines.
Maintains proper documentation, which includes but is not limited
to the metrology database, calibration certificates, equipment
history forms, time sheets and automated calibration software.
Conducts self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency
in calibration theory, methods and equipment.
Communicates to customers as it relates to the progress of the
testing, repair and/or service(s).
Accompanies Senior Metrology to customer locations and calibrate
equipment on-site.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Previous work experience in instrumentation and control,
installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment or
related equivalent.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short
correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure
understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients,
co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present
information to an internal department and/or large groups of
employees.
Financial knowledge
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability
to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Reasoning ability
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in
standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard
situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Desktop publishing, Microsoft Office Suite
and Online Help.
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short

understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients,
co-workers, and/or supervisor with a strong, professional customer
service orientation.
Scope of responsibility
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company
policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment
may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
