2 years of Neuro ICU experience preferred; Level 1 trauma
experience required License: Compact or KY state license required
at time of submission Certifications: EKG, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
required Must-Have: Experience with ICP and lumbar drains;
preferred experience with Licox Description: We are seeking a
Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro ICU. Candidates should have
a minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience, preferably in a Level
1 trauma setting. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates must possess valid EKG, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certifications. Experience with intracranial pressure monitoring
and lumbar drains is required. Experience with Licox devices is
preferred. Candidates must hold either a Kentucky state license or
a compact license at the time of submission. Floating to other
specified units within the neurosciences service line will be
required. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory. Local
candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted for this
position. Candidates should disclose any prior employment with the
facility during the submission process. Rehire eligibility will be
verified through human resources. All candidates must comply with
COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, with exemptions only for
medical or religious reasons. Note that additional modules may be
required as per specialty engagement.
