Job Description:

Modis is looking to for a C# / .NET Software Developer for a job in Louisville, KY 40223. The C# / .NET Software Developer will be on a team to develop and enhance a web based application using ASP.Net, C# and Web Forms. This is 60% – 70% new development.  
 
As a C# /.NET Software Developer, you will work on projects ranging from integrating 3rd party devices, develop new functionality for payroll and call center tracking applications.  Almost all development will be to a SQL database so having experience writing to a SQL database is a must.
 
Additional duties to include (but not limited to):
• Work with users to gather project requirements
• Perform duties as a programmer/analyst that include design, documentation, analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of requested projects
• Develop web-based reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
• Provide 2nd level application support for both new and existing applications
 
.NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPER REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•  4+ years of application development using C#, ASP.Net with Web Forms
•  3+ years of relational database experience (MS SQL Server focused)
•  Experience with SSRS and SSIS
•  Knowledge with Web Services using XML and JSON interchange formats
•  SQL Server, Visual Studio 2012, C#, VB.Net, Web Forms
 
DESIRED (Nice-to-haves) SKILLS:
•  Bachelor's degree in technology field
•  Acquainted with Web Services using XML and JSON interchange formats
